| The Online Merchant 2.0 Solution has four primary Modules: (i) Item Management Module: An interface that allows the Application Administrator to load merchandise and all other sellable items on the Web. It captures such descriptions as. (a) Product name (b) Thumbnails Picture (c) Product Category (d) Featured Products /Description. (e) Price (f) Reviews. (g) Attached promotional Programs (h) Modify /Delete Product Link. It also performs other functions such as viewing products serially, or setting an item as a featured product. In addition, it houses the section that deals with all promotional activities of the store. (ii) Shopping Cart Basically an electronic cart that gathers selected items, descriptions and accumulate their total price. The shopping cart allows re-ordering if required and finally checks out to the payment gatewBay while capturing the customer's billing and shipping information. (iii) E payment Module The module interfaces with an electronic payment gateway. Majorly via Interswitch and eTranzact although MasterCard is in view, the Online Merchant 2.0 will interact with other payment channels that might soon be available. (iv) Content Management Module Any other content to be published on the portal is coordinated by this module. These contents include information about the company, customer policies, branch networks, news, financial performance, clients, mails, enquiries, e.t.c.
